As an Adviser to Stratagem Innovation Capital Partners (SIC.Partners), Lisa Fox applies her expertise to assist SIC.Partner’s in due diligence of viable innovative technologies and businesses that have a measured, positive impact on the world. Drawing on her experience in sustainable policy & regulatory fields, Lisa advises SIC.Partners on CleanTech business potential, including market development of technologies related to water, waste, energy and food systems, local stakeholder engagement, navigating regulatory requirements, and advising on government environmental policy & compliance.
Lisa works with governments, industries and municipalities to navigate regulatory pathways for innovative technologies and sustainable solutions. In addition to working as an advisor to the provincial government on the development of policy frameworks for water, land and air, Lisa has developed regulatory protocols, compliance reporting standards, and environmental protection and management plans for municipal water and wastewater treatment systems. She has direct experience working as a municipal environmental manager and in First Nations community development and excels at community stakeholder engagement, business development, and public relations.
Lisa Fox is the Director of Strategic Policy and Program Development for Sustainability Resources Ltd. Through her work as a Consultant with Sustainability Resources, Lisa provides strategic policy advice and support to communities, multi-stakeholder organizations, and industry clients. Specialties: Sustainable community planning, environmental management systems (ISO 14001), research & analysis, environmental policy, conservation project design and management, corporate sustainability evaluation and planning, stewardship coordination, communications and marketing, provincial policy framework development, international environmental policy analysis.
Lisa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Political Science from Vancouver Island University, an Honour’s degree in Western Political Philosophy from University of Victoria, as well as a Master’s degree from the University of Calgary in Resource & Environment, EVDS, Environmental Law, Policy, Ethics, pending thesis. She has obtained an ISO 14001 – Environment Management from the University of Calgary and a Graduate Certificate in Public Policy from the Max Bell Public Policy Training Institute.
